Pop-Up Event

Human Library Fort Wayne was excited to host its first ever outdoor pop-up event! We were be part of the NIPSCO STEAM Park at this year's Taste of the Arts Festival in downtown Fort Wayne! We had the opportunity to have several of our human Books throughout the day sharing their story with Readers who 'checked them out' for a short time to listen and dialogue. It was a great opportunity community members to sit and talk to others they would have otherwise never met in order to open to new ideas and experiences.

The STEAM Park was held in several locations downtown. The Human Library setup was in the parking lot at the corner of Barr Street and E. Berry Street (just east of the Barrett McNagny Law Firm at 215 E. Berry Street.)

The weather was gorgeous and the event a wonderful success!
